I Stopped Going To Retreats

 

I used to attend overnight retreats.

 

You may know that I'm a learner and a doer, and I thought retreats would help me implement new things in my life, so that I could better balance all that I had going on.

 

By attending those retreats I was hoping for time to think and space to integrate what I was learning. 

 

AND, I wanted to return home refreshed and renewed. 

 

However, every time I left any sort of retreat, I was more overwhelmed and exhausted than when I arrived!! UGH! I hated that! 

 

So, after years of attending many retreats myself, I finally admitted that they just weren't a good fit for me. 

 

Eventually, I gave up on attending retreats, until I had a lightbulb moment.

 

Maybe I'm not the only one who's been let down by retreat experiences. 

 

What if I created a completely different retreat? A one of a kind experience.
