It's all a game
“Lisa! I have NO time!!!”
I hear this every week.
Really, you aren’t the only one that never has enough time. It’s common.
Spoiler alert: That can be fixed.
First thing. When you feel the most pulled and stretched, remember this.
Repeat it to yourself over and over:
“It’s all a game.”
The game of attention.
When I felt the most pulled and stretched…
It helped to remember that it’s all a game of attention.
THEY (the stores, your boss, your kids, your partner) all want a piece of you.
It’s not their fault. It’s just how this culture of ours rolls...
Your attention is wanted by many. And YOU are in charge of where it goes.
You’ll feel better when you get it out of your head and onto paper.
I "Brain Dump" AT LEAST once a week. And in stressful times, I’m known to Brain Dump daily.
The way I see it, you can’t manage something that’s in perpetual motion! (You can’t herd cats!!!)
Once those pinging thoughts/worries/ideas are nailed down, you’ve got a chance at solving them.
But left “willy nilly”, they’ll only wreak havoc on your sanity, drain your energy and waste your time.
A Brain Dump is just one of the tools I use with my clients as we flow through the Living Fully Balanced framework.
Seeing all your thoughts in one place allows you to envision what you really want, helps you take action on those things, gives you perspective so that you can properly assess them, and also provides clarity so you can adjust, if needed.
This framework is the foundation of the work I do.
It’s covered in The Living Fully Balanced Life Planner.
It’s the core of my quarterly Life Design Retreat.
And it’s at the heart of every private Time/Energy Optimization Program.
And although you might like the sound of all this, you might be secretly thinking that this isn’t going to work for you.
I believe that THINKING TIME is the key to loving your life again.
The work I do with female founders, owners and financial advisors gives them more time.
Period.
And as a result… They also have more energy, more fulfillment and more contentment in their lives.
It can feel counterintuitive at first. To give time in order to get more time.
But, I can tell you that after working with me for less than two weeks, the clouds of overwhelm and exhaustion part, and you'll quickly see how spending time on the front end, on the RIGHT things are THE KEY to operating at your full capacity.
So, what IS it that you want to feel at the end of your year?
Envision it.
Now, let’s create a plan to grow that dream into your reality.
Remember. It’s all an attention game.
And YOU can direct where your attention goes.
Want a guide and a partner?
I’ve got 1 spot available to work one on one, for 6 weeks!
It’s not too late to end the year strong. Or content. Or at peace.
However you want to end the year… envision it!
You and I can create a life that makes you feel as good as those adorable reels of kitties you watch. (See what I did there? We just found some time!)
And, if now’s not the time to work together, no worries.
I just want you to give yourself some attention in the game!
I’m cheering you on!
Lisa
