Reminder- You're in charge this season.

The holidays are fast approaching.

I won’t sugar coat it… there’s a lot to do.

Even though it can feel like the calendar’s in charge of your life…

You Are In Charge.

Here are some things you can take now, so that you can fully enjoy the holiday season.

  • Check in with yourself. Ask and answer these questions. What do YOU want out of the holidays?” At the end of the season, when you’re toasting in the New Year, “what do you want to be proud of? How do you want to feel at the end of the year”?

  • Get it out of your head: Our brains are great at processing and creating. Not so great at storage. Get it out of your head and put it on paper.

  • Lean on your list: START NOW. MAKE A LIST of all the people you’ll be buying gifts for this season. The great thing about this list is now you’ve got a place to put gift ideas, when they pop up… rather than trying to keep those ideas in your head.

  • Have a family meeting: Have a family meeting now, and ask, “What one thing would make this season special for you?” It most likely will lighten your load AND you just might get a gift suggestion. Win Win!

I know how frenetic and chaotic this time of year can be. Especially if “you’re in the thick of it,” trying to do your best at work while also raising good little humans.

Your attention is wanted by many. AND you are in charge of where it goes.

You’ll feel more in control when you get it out of your head and lean on that list.

And that list will be filled with the right stuff once you have that family meeting and continue to check in with yourself.

Remember, you’re in charge!

If you’ve gotten to the end of this and you’re thinking, “Nice, Lisa. But, with MY schedule, I wouldn’t know where to start.”

Schedule a call with me. I've got strategies and a special “year end focus” that promises to help you navigate the holiday with less stress, less overwhelm and a bit of grace and ease.

I’m rooting for you!

Hugs,

Lisa
