I Stopped Going To Retreats

You may know that I'm a learner and a doer, and I thought retreats would help me implement new things in my life, so that I could better balance all that I had going on.

By attending those retreats I was hoping for time to think and space to integrate what I was learning.

AND, I wanted to return home refreshed and renewed.

However, every time I left any sort of retreat, I was more overwhelmed and exhausted than when I arrived!! UGH! I hated that!

So, after years of attending many retreats myself, I finally admitted that they just weren't a good fit for me.
